Learn to Fly Tailwheel
In the 35 plus years that WVFC has been serving the Bay Area, tailwheel aircraft have been a main stay of the program. Along with our long history with tailwheel planes, and outstanding safety record comes a variety of aircraft to choose from. Our choices include Citabrias, to the Super Decathlon, and a Pitts.
Programs
Student Pilots:
Some people learn how to fly tailwheel from the very beginning. This is a great way to start off your aviation career.
Transition Training:
From Private Pilots to ATP, a tailwheel endorsement can add a lot of personal enrichment and fun to your flying career. Particularly if you have not gotten the chance to fly a stick.
Advanced Tailwheel Pilots:
WVFC offers a variety of step-up aircraft. This includes The Super Decathlon, or maybe you would prefer the Pitts
