Why are you a Certified Flight Instructor?
I want to share my passion of flying and teaching.

How long have you been instructing?
I received my CFI in January 2021 and I am just getting started as an instructor at WVFC.

Do you tend to favor PAO or SQL, and how might it affect a student's ability to schedule time?
I can fly out of both airports.

How would you describe your availability in general?
I am working as an instructor part time. I am free in the mornings before 9AM and in the afternoon after 5PM on weekdays and also available most weekends.

What method of ground school do you prefer and how does it relate to your syllabus?
I think each student learns in different ways. I will work with each student to identify the best ground school (Kings, WVFC ground school, Sporty's) or 1:1 instruction.

What is your favorite aircraft to instruct in?
182 or 172

What are your aircraft recommendations for a new student?
C172 is a great plane for new pilots.

What percentage of your students pass their check ride on the first try?
Just started instructing so TBD.

Additional Comments:
I have been a pilot since 2000 and also enjoy flying for Angel Flight. My day job is a chemist for a pharmaceutical company. When I am not flying I like to rock climb or do anything outside (hiking, biking, running).
