Why are you a Certified Flight Instructor? The best way to really learn a subject is to teach. For me, it is a constant process of learning - results in a high degree of competence in teaching people to fly.
How long have you been instructing? Since 1974
Do you tend to favor PAO or SQL, and how might it affect a student's ability to schedule time? I usually only teach at PAO
How would you describe your availability in general? Almost anytime at or after 11:00.
What method of ground school do you prefer and how does it relate to your syllabus? I Prefer the WVFC Private Pilot Ground School.
What is your favorite aircraft to instruct in? I don't have any favorites
What are your aircraft recommendations for a new student? It depends on several things - including cost to student.
What percentage of your students pass their checkride on the first try? 95%
