I started flying at the age of 15 on a Piper PA-11, similar to a Piper Cub. Since then, my love and passion for flying grew stronger and stronger. After instructing full time at WVFC for a number of years, I became a full time Airline Pilot. My love for teaching and acrobatic flying brought me back to WVFC as a part time instructor. My experiences include over 7000Hrs as a Flight Instructor, Captain, Check Airman, and test Pilot on Airbus A-320, and First Officer on Heavy wide body MD-11 on flights around the world. I specialize on Extra-300L training and spin and unusual attitude recovery training. |

I've been flight instructing since 1993.
How would you describe your availability in general?

What are your aircraft recommendations for a new student?
Depending on budget and student comfort preferences, I recommend the Cessna 152, 172 or Piper Warrior.
