Why are you a Certified Flight Instructor?
I actually get paid to fly!

How long have you been instructing?
Since 1971.

How would you describe your availability in general?
Full Time.

What method of ground school do you prefer and how does it relate to your syllabus?
Depends on the student. Some do well with WVFC classes. Others prefer self-teaching programs. My syllabus is based on Jeppesen.

What is your favorite aircraft to instruct in?
I am leaning towards the 172SP.

What are your aircraft recommendations for a new student?
The 172SP is good for basic and instrument training. All are relatively new aircraft; and we are developing a growing inventory that assures high availability.

What percentage of your students pass their checkride on the first try?
Greater than 90%.
