What are your aircraft recommendations for a new student?
Cessna 152 / 172. I find that these aircraft are easy enough to control for students pilots but are not so forgiving that they develop poor stick and rudder skills.
What percentage of your students pass their checkride on the first try?
In five years I have sent more than 15 students for checkrides. 100% of them have passed on their first attempt. I have never been pink slipped on a checkride either. I believe with good preparation all students can pass a checkride on their first attempt.
