Why are you a Certified Flight Instructor?
It's exciting, it's challenging, it's fun, it's motivating, and above all it's a dream come true.

How long have you been instructing?
Since 1996.

Do you tend to favor PAO, SQL, HWD or E16, and how might it affect a student's ability to schedule time?
SQL. It's easier to schedule and get to the parking area, and you don't have to idle on the ground or circle over Leslie Salt.

How would you describe your availability in general?
I'm available 4-5 days per week for the time being and hopefully 6-7 days in the future.

What method of ground school do you prefer and how does it relate to your syllabus?
I like to gather some of my students together at one time so they can learn from each other. I also recommend ground school and using my notes.

What is your favorite aircraft to instruct in?
C152s (it's like being free in the air) very responsive, costs less.

What are your aircraft recommendations for a new student?
C152, C172, PA28-161 and in the future maybe taildraggers.

What percentage of your students pass their checkride on the first try?
80% pass their check ride at the first time and I have been a Gold Seal Instructor since 2001.
