Why are you a Certified Flight Instructor?
I love to teach and meet people interested in flying. I like 3-dimensions in my life.

How long have you been instructing?
I have been a CFI for 19 years and love it!

Do you tend to favor PAO, SQL, HWD or E16, and how might it affect a student's ability to schedule time?
I favor E16 and PAO, but if need be I drive to SQL. I limit the number of students I have so I can get them finished.

How would you describe your availability in general?
I usually work Monday thru Friday and I tend to like to fly early in the morning. If needed I will fly nights and weekends.

What method of ground school do you prefer and how does it relate to your syllabus?
I like to give reading assignments, with questions answered before each flight. I will go into detail on any subject the student needs.

What is your favorite aircraft to instruct in?
I really love all planes, from the great C-152 to the 400 series Cessnas.

What are your aircraft recommendations for a new student?
Which ever plane they want. Some planes will take longer to learn in so this should be discussed.

What percentage of your students pass their checkride on the first try?
90% all ratings.
