- I'm an instructor, I've changed my Website password, and now I can't get into the CFI section.
- If you use the "Change Password" option from the "Members" section of the Website, it will not effect your password in the CFI section. If you should happen to change your password for any reason, send email to the Webmaster with your username (member number) and your new password will be copied to the CFI section.
- I'm a new instructor. How can I set up a personal bio? Can I ever change it?
- In the "CFIs Only" section you will find an "Edit CFI Bio" button. This is the button you can click on to bring up the CFI Bio Questionnaire. You can add or change your Bio at any time. If you are a new instructor a message will be generated the first time you fill out the questionnaire which will prompt the creation of a personal webpage within one week. After the webpage is created the infor provided will be displayed and you can edit the information any time you wish.
- I've tried to make some changes to items like my hourly rate, instructor classification, ratings, phone numbers, and checkpilot status. How come these changes aren't being made?
- These items are ONLY changed in accordance with the hard-copy CFI matrix provided by the Chief CFI's office (the sheet that's handed out at the front desk). To make any changes to these items you must go through the Chief Pilot's office where they will make the required changes to your record.
- How can I display my CASSi CFI schedule to show more than one day at a time?
- From the Schedules page, enter the appropriate To/From dates and then choose 'Text Listing' as the display type.
- How do I block out some days on my CASSi CFI schedule?
- Click on the staff link at the bottom of the page. From the staff menu, in the CFI area, click on the Block Out Schedules link. Fill in the form with the appropriate information and click on the 'Block out CFI' button.
- How do I modify or delete blocked out periods of my CASSi CFI schedule?
- Blocked out times must be individually changed for the entire time periods originally set. Retrieve your schedule in color bar mode and click on your name in the display. From the Schedule Details page, click on Reschedule/modify this flight to change the dates and times of the blockout. CAUTION: Once you complete this next step your changes will take effect immediately. You will not be able to reverse this step. Click on 'Cancel Entire Flight' to delete the blockout.
