  Mountain Checkout
June 18, 1998

The WVFC Member Regulations states that a mountain flying checkout is required for any member who wishes to take a club aircraft to any airport with an elevation higher than 3500 ft. MSL during wintertime, 2000 ft. MSL during summertime, or over mountainous terrain higher than 8000 ft. anytime during the year. The following is what a mountain checkout looks like. I bet YOU want to schedule one now, don't you?
